  • July 30, 2021

By Audible.com, September 27, 2018 – When it comes to buying gift cards, the biggest issue that many people face is how to figure out which one is the best for them.

The big question is, which one to buy, given the number of choices and the variety of retailers and brands out there?

And what’s the right way to do that?

If you’ve been following this podcast, you’re probably aware of the big pushback from retailers, especially online, to get their gift cards out in time for the holidays.

After all, they’re trying to catch up to Amazon and other digital retailers with deals on items like cars, furniture, and even toys.

But it turns out that the biggest problem people face when buying gift card deals is they don’t know which of the major gift card providers are best for their needs.

So what are the pros and cons of a few of the best gift card companies out there and what are their tips for buying a better card for your budget?

As a gift card buyer, you probably already know that there are two major things that you should look at when picking a gift cards.

One is how much money they’re worth, and the other is how many perks they offer.

While many of the smaller retailers like Amazon and Target offer perks for buying gifts, you should be able to pick the best cards for your needs, says Matt Regan, CEO of the gift card provider Audible and author of The Gift Card Guru.

“You should also pay attention to the perks that you get in return,” he adds.

Audible gives you free shipping on every purchase, and it also lets you set a minimum purchase amount of $99.

“It’s a great way to spend a lot of money, but it’s also a great chance to spend it with a lot,” Regan says.

You should also know how much you can expect to get in terms of perks.

“If you’re going to get a lot, and you’re really excited about it, you can probably get the cheapest one,” Rehears says.

And, if you’re in a rush and want to save a few bucks, you’ll want to try Audible’s free one-year trial.

The free trial will let you spend $1,000 a month and get up to $2,500 worth of perks (though you’ll have to pay for those if you want to keep it), Regan explains.

If you are looking for a great card that you can use all year round, Regan suggests you look at gift cards from major companies.

“I’m a big fan of Amazon and I love buying giftcards from them,” Reis says.

“And if you can get a discount on some of their more expensive cards, then I’m definitely going to buy it.”

You should keep in mind, though, that these are not official gift card guidelines, and that they may not be the best option for you.

Reheans advice, though: “I would definitely get Audible instead of Amazon.

It has some of the biggest perks in the business, and they’re more affordable.”

And then there’s the bonus: “It helps to be a savvy shopper, too, and be aware of your own spending habits,” Reiners advice.

You’ll also want to be aware that gift card retailers also offer coupons, and this will help you save money if you need it.

“They also have some really cool incentives like a 30-day trial,” Reimans says.

If you can’t decide between Audible or Amazon, there’s a good chance you’ll be able find a better deal online.
